The 4 Week Diet eBook

Reading heaps of "how to lose weight' books the fact that struck me on more than one occasion was that exercise is certainly as important as eating less. Along side this was the repeated suggestion of fitness routines, workouts, gym memberships, The 4 Week Diet I 'm sure you have all been there.

An infrequent suggestion was that if you incorporate exercise into your daily routine of living you could certainly achieve weight loss. As a keen gardener, I find gardening plenty of exercise! Consider weeding, instead of just bending and pulling weeds, try the bend and stretch exercise bending and straightening up four or five times, pulling weeds out on the downward motion.

Be careful if you have a back, complaint as bending from the waist is not helpful unfortunately we all do it! Bending at the knees is so much healthier for backs; rise to standing from your knees, as you get older this is not that easy to do. Take it slowly and carefully increasing the number of times as the joints become accustomed to it.

Carrying weights does not need a weight training gym; just carry buckets or watering cans around the garden. Perhaps starting with half full buckets or if you are a half-empty sort person look at it that way! Lawn mowing is tops, especially for those with large areas of it, more difficult if you live in an apartment, of course then you could perhaps walk round the mall instead!

Pruning trees another means of stretching and extending the muscles of the arms and shoulders, no trees, pretend you have them! Sometimes just walking to and back from your garden shed is exercise in itself. How many times have you said I'll do it tomorrow when putting something away, or getting a tool from the shed. I cannot be bothered feeling is prevalent and stands in the way of getting your exercise!
