And in that Psalm he makes this peculiar statement to God "against you, you alone I have sinned". He just murdered a man, committed adultery, and yet he says to God 'against you alone I have sinned'. Why? Because David knew that 'Guess Who' had to clean up the mess, not him, but God. Everything ever done wrong will be fixed by God and is in fact against God. We're just very lucky to have a God like him.
